There are various means to get your images added to your website. The easiest is for you to send them via email with the file attached to us.
Just email with attachment to webinfo@ud.net Be sure in your email to identify what website the image(s) are for, and where within the site each is to be placed. (NOTE: AOL customers should only send one attachment per email. If you have lots of images, you may ZIP all the images into one file and send them.)
If you are going to physically mail them, send them to: If you are familiar with File Transfer Protocal (FTP) software for transferring the designs over the internet you may use this method also. However, please contact us to setup an uploading folder for you to send your images. We have found that if your images are going to be resized, you should send them to us as a .PIC, .TIF, .EPS or .PSD file format. If the image is already at the correct size, then you can send them as a .GIF or .JPG. As a rule of thumb, .GIF are best for line art and digital graphic images (has a limit of 256 colors) where as .JPG is better for photographs (supports millions of colors). However both .GIF and .JPG formats strip out detail as they are being created, so resizing of .GIF and .JPG files can make the images appear blurry. If you do not have digital copies of the images, we can scan, digital photograph or even develop custom graphics for you. However, these services are not part of our standard packages, and will be charged on a per hour basis. |
