This event is being sponsored by NNEP - National Network of Embroidery Professionals, but was developed by Universal Design, Inc. and is hosted as part of the EmbroideryMall.

For those of you that have played our EmbroideryMall Special Event games before, there are some hidden twists that we have incorporated into this game, to make sure you are on your toes.

The "50 TIPS" Icon's are hidden throughout the EmbroideryMall and associated websites. All "50 TIPS" Icons can be reached through links originating in, or from, the EmbroideryMall. When you find a icon, you press on it and you will be asked to enter your "50 TIPS" HUNT CODE.

Where do you get your HUNT CODE? You get it when you sign up for the game! (see "HUNT CODE SIGN-UP" link below). You will be asked to fill out a form and submit it, and your "50 TIPS" HUNT CODE will given to you immediately. You only need to sign up once, for the HUNT CODE, at the start of the game. (Do not sign up for multiple codes. After the event ends, and before we hold the drawing, duplicate entries are purged. We request one entry per household - since you shouldn't be playing the game at work, we don't have to worry about the 1 per business rule ;-)

Write down your "50 TIPS" HUNT CODE. Memorize it, tattoo it on your children, do whatever it takes, but REMEMBER YOUR HUNT CODE! We can not look-up lost CODES. If you lose your HUNT CODE your only alternative is to submit another HUNT CODE request and get a "NEW" "50 TIPS" HUNT CODE. You cannot merge the results of two different HUNT CODES. After the game ends at Noon on October 3rd, 2000, and prior to the drawing, we will do a search on the database for duplicates by name and email addresses. Then we remove any duplicates. We keep the database record with the most entries found. Therefore only one entry per contestant will be accepted.

Once you have found a "50 TIPS" Icon AND entered your HUNT CODE, the TIP will be added to your ScrapBook.

Be sure to follow the instructions carefully, because unless you complete the "ADD ENTRY" screen, your "FIND" will not be recorded.

As we do not have control over all the icons placements or websites where they are hidden, plan on, expect, and don't be surprised if the icons move around a bit during the game. Some of the individuals responsible for the icons have gotten creative in making sure the placement is not always the easiest to find, or stays static. There are some behind the scenes rules as to icon placement, but be assured, they are out there. Sometimes there are website problems, so if you don't find it today, maybe tomorrow it will be visible or more obvious. However, if you find one, and you click on it, and it does not work, let us know.

Also for the first time, there can be MORE THAN ONE ICON on a sponsor's site.

All "50 TIPS" correct answers will be tallied for the drawings after the "50 TIPS" game is complete. WWW.UD.NET Internet Services will conduct the drawing "LIVE" via Latte's, starting at 9:00pm EST on Tuesday October 3rd, 2000 and we will notify the winners by email. A copy of the winning notice will also be sent to the prize sponsor to make arrangements for delivery of the prize. It is the responsibility of the prize winner to make arrangements for delivery of the prize awarded directly from the prize sponsor. Unless specific written agreements between the sponsor and prize winner are made, all prizes must be claimed within 90 days.

The Grand Prize drawing will be made from those individuals that located ALL the "50 TIPS" and had them recorded in their ScrapBook. If only one person answers all the questions correctly, then they will automatically be the winner. If no one answers all the questions, the individuals with the highest total number of questions answered will be used as the Grand Prize drawing pool.

For each icon you find (and add to your ScrapBook), you will be automatically entered into one of the drawings for prizes. So the more Icons you find, the greater your chances at being a prize winner.

The game will end at NOON, Eastern Standard Time October 3rd, 2000. As this is a world wide internet event, not all "50 TIPS" Icons will be removed exactly at the same time. SO NOTE, if you should locate any of the "50 TIPS" Icons after the deadline, the records are frozen as of Noon on October 3rd, so they CANNOT BE added to your "ScrapBook".

None of the employees or associated representatives of NNEP or Universal Design, Inc., or direct subsidiaries, are eligible to participate in the "50 TIPS" event.

The supervised drawing results on October 3rd, 2000 will be considered Final. NNEP & Universal Design, Inc., their employees, associates and representatives are to be held harmless in case of any oversight, errors or omissions that may a rise.

Employees of companies that contributed prizes may participate in the "50 TIPS" event, but cannot be included in the drawing for their own company's prizes.

ALL PRIZES will be awarded, but must be claimed within 90 days.

A list of prize winners will be available at the EmbroideryMall as soon as all prizes have been awarded and winners confirmed.
